We are regular visitors to the area, and having stayed at various places, this was definitely one of the best, and we are keen to return for a future trip. We felt really comfortable coming and going from the accomodation, we were not pessured to be in or out at a specific time, and enjoyed chatting with Shelley and her family about our adventures during the day and listening to suggestions on where else we could visit. The accomodation was a short walk from Lymington High Street, the Quay and several great pubs and restaurants. Despite being in Shelley's house it was extremely private, the accomodation taking up the entire top floor, with en suite and our own breakfast room, filled with a great continental breakfast selection and drinks, that was more than sufficient. The room itself is perfect for a break I Lymington and the New Forest.

Shelley was extremely welcoming and really friendly, we felt at hom right away.

Having never stayed at accommodation that is part of the owners house, we were a little worried before arriving. Cafe Fino 88 Market Place, Romford 01708 721019 The Crown 360 Hornchurch Road, Roneo Corner 01708 447656 Cafe Bueno 4 High Street. In short, Island View is a fantastic accomidation, in a great location and superb host. My wife and I have just returned from a short break at Island View. The nearest airport is Bournemouth Airport, 21 km from the accommodation.

Bournemouth is 24 km from Island view loft, while Southampton is 18 km away. The bed and breakfast is equipped with a flat-screen TV.
